Software only — nothing physically changed on the engine. We adjust how the ECU manages fuel, boost and timing to get more out of what's already there. Most petrol and diesel engines respond well, and the difference is immediately obvious on the road.

If you've already fitted a bigger intercooler, uprated injectors or a freer exhaust, the standard Stage 1 map won't make the most of them. Stage 2 is written around your specific hardware — it's a proper bespoke calibration, not just an off-the-shelf file.

Works particularly well on diesel vans and lorries doing regular long runs. We smooth out the torque curve and adjust fuelling so the engine isn't working harder than it needs to. Plenty of customers doing the A9 regularly have noticed a genuine difference at the fuel pump.

We don't just plug in a reader and clear the light. We go through what the system is actually telling us and work out what's causing it. Limp mode, poor MPG, warning lights that keep coming back — we deal with the problem, not the symptom.
